Sarah Joy Adler

Bio:   

Sarah Joy Adler is a recent Chicago transplant from Boulder, CO where she completed her BFA at The University of Colorado Boulder. After her studies at CU, Adler spent a year touring with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival’s Violence Prevention program as Hero/Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing and Toby/Olivia in Twelfth Night. She is thrilled to be starting her Chicago career with the Protégé Program and is grateful to be a part of such a brilliant ensemble.

Bio:   

Jerico is overjoyed to be apart of Shattered Globe’s Protégé Program. Originally from Tennessee, he moved to Chicago in 2009 to obtain his BA in Performance from Columbia College Chicago. Some of his theatre credits include Perfect Wedding (Towle Theatre), Porcelain (Prologue Theatre Company), Rudolph the Red Hosed Reindeer (Hell in a Handbag Productions), El Stories: New In Town (Waltzing Mechanics), Emma (Dead Writers Theatre Collective), and St. Paulie’s Delight (Chicago Dramatists). Jerico is an active dramaturg who has worked on various productions such as Guardians (Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co.) The Other Place (Profiles), Side Man (American Blues Theater), and The Rubenstein Kiss (Coriolis Theater). He is also the Development Coordinator and ensemble member for Mercy Street Theatre Company (mercystreettheatre.org).

Bio:   

Christina Hughes graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI with a B.A. in Spanish. Since moving to Chicago, she has studied acting and improvisation at The Second City, Black Box Acting Studio, Actors Studio Chicago, and The Annoyance. Her theatre credits include shows at the Public House Theatre, The Second City, and Ripon Community Players. Her on-camera credits include student films at Northwestern, DePaul, Columbia College, and SAIC as well as independent projects for Full Spectrum Features and the DBSA Alliance.

Bio:   

Ani Cohen is delighted to be joining the 2016 Shattered Globe Protege Program! She is a graduate of the Conservatory at Second City Training Center and has continued to study with Profiles Theatre and Acting Studio Chicago. Her credits include American Theatre Company (10×10 Festival), Otherworld Theatre Company (Paragon Sci-Fi Festival), Chicago Women’s Funny Festival (The Lady Slippers), and Crossroads Repertory Theatre (The Servant of Two Masters and You Can’t Take it with You). Ani would like to give a special thanks to her friends, family, and Ryan for all their constant love and support.
