Eileen Niccolai holds a BA in Theatre and a BSW in Social Work from Loyola University. She has been a member of the ensemble for 22 years. Eileen has performed in several SGT productions over the years. She was seen this season in SGT’s production of Our Country’s Good . Prior to that, she appeared as Lady in 2012 in Orpheus Descending . Over the years she has been nominated for five Joseph Jefferson Awards. She received two non-equity Joseph Jefferson Awards, one for Actress in a Principal Role for And a Nightingale Sang and one for Actress in a Supporting Role for In a Pig’s Valise . She is employed as an Associate Director for Thresholds, a psychosocial rehabilitation center serving persons with severe and persistent mental illness.

Cortney is a native Chicagoian who, in addition to working with Shattered Globe, has had the privilege to work with such companies as Trap Door, Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, Redmoon as well as with talented directors such as Janet Louer. She is SGT’s Protégé Program Director as well as a teacher across Chicaoland recently teaching at Piven and The Actors Training Center. Her studies have taken her to London and Poland where she has crafted her work to encompass numerous practices including the work of Polands renouned Song of the Goat in 2008. Cortney is represented by Paonessa Talent Agency and is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA. She is a 2014 Joseph Jefferson nominated actress for her work in Core of the Pudel.

Christina is an actor and fight choreographer, originally from the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York. As an actor, Christina has studied in Chicago and abroad, including the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England.
Chicago acting credits include: 3C (A Red Orchid Theatre); Men Should Weep (Jeff Award for Best Production-Play) and Stage Door for Griffin Theatre, The Bottle Tree (Stage Left Theatre), Making God Laugh (Fox Valley Rep), Leading Ladies (Buffalo Theatre Ensemble), The Thin Man (City Lit), and The Tall Girls, In the Heat of the Night, The Grown Up, The Rose Tattoo, Our Country’s Good, Happy Now, and Romeo and Juliet for here at SGT, where she is an ensemble member. She can also be seen in Clarion New Media’s webseries, The Adventures of Jacketman.
Christina’s fight credits include Visiting Edna (Steppenwolf), The Nether (A Red Orchid Theatre), Wastwater, Posh, Brilliant Adventures, and The Cheats (Steep Theatre), The Commons of Pensacola (Northlight Theatre), Ragtime (Griffin Theatre), The Orchestra (Akvavit Theatre), Miles Away (The Side Project), 10-4 The Truck Stop Plays (CIC Theatre), and In the Heat of the Night, The Rose Tattoo, Mill Fire, Our Country’s Good, Happy Now and The Whaleship Essex for Shattered Globe Theatre.

Kelsey is a multi-faceted theatre artist. She has experience as an actor, costume designer, scenic designer, graphic designer, director, teacher, and stage manager. Her past credits with SGT include The Grown-Up (Understudy), The Rose Tattoo (Actor), Our Country’s Good (Understudy/Assistant Director) re-mounting of SGT’s Choose-Your-Own Romeo & Juliet (Actor/Collaborator), Happy Now? (Assistant Director), Proteges 2012-2013 (Assistant Teacher), Her Naked Skin (Actor), Honest | Fair (Actor/Costume Designer), and Orpheus Descending (Assistant Costume Designer). Kelsey is a graduate of SGT’s Protege Program 2011-2012, Northwestern University (B.S. in Communication – Theatre), and the British American Drama Academy’s Midsummer in Oxford Program.

An ensemble member since 2007, Mike’s SGT credits include, Come Back Little Sheba (Chicago Tribune’s Hottest Ticket in Town) directed by David Cromer, Requiem for a Heavyweight (Chicago Tribune’s Hottest Ticket in Town) where he convincingly beat down Sean Sullivan in the opening scene awarding Nick Sandys a Jeff Award for Best Fight Choreography, and The Glass Menagerie. Additional theatre credits as an actor include the critically acclaimed Chicago production of Our Town directed by David Cromer produced by The Hypocrites, which remounted at the Barrow Street Theatre, New York becoming the longest running Our Town in history starring Michael Shannon. Screen and television credits include numerous commercials and films such as, The Merry Gentleman (2008), with Kelly Macdonald and Michael Keaton, I Heart Shakey (2012) with Steve Lemme and Beverly D’angelo, and his most recent role as Arthur Link in Director Ramin Bahrani’s latest film, At Any Price (2013), with Dennis Quaid and Zach Efron (but just realized his scene was cut. Still counts though. Dennis Quaid knows it.). Mike went on to assistant direct stage productions with Katy Walsh, Steve Scott, Linda Gillum, and Dennis Zacek. As a photographer, Mike’s photographs have appeared in newspapers and magazines such as The Chicago Tribune. As a filmmaker, Mike has served as a Director and Director of Photography for music videos and behind the scenes projects for critically acclaimed work. He would like to thank all of his family and friends. Mom, Dad, Esther, Shelly, Ron, Dave, Morgan, Jake, Brit, and Chelsea. Without you I wouldn’t be able to do this crazy mischougas. Joe Forbrich is Co-Founder and original Vice President of the Shattered Globe Theatre Company. His credits for SGT are numerous and favorites include Count Oederland; Back Stage Pass; Talk Radio; A Streetcar Named Desire; The Manchurian Candidate; Warhawks & Lindberghs; Coyote On A Fence; High Life; A View From The Bridge; And A Nightingale Sang; In A Pig’s Valise; A Real Classy Affair; Meet John Doe. Other stage credits include Chicago and New York Off-Broadway works such as Shakespeare in the Park, The Public Theater, Theatre for a New Audience, The Duke on 42nd Street, The Barrow Group, and Second Stage. Regional credits include Chicago Shakespeare, Steppenwolf, and the Goodman. Joe’s Television and Film credits include: A recurring role as Detective Joe Cormack on Law and Order; A recurring role on Blue Bloods; recurring role on 30 Rock; guest star on White Collar, guest star on Past Life. Joe is currently understudying on Broadway in Lucky Guy. In December, 2013 the film The Red Robin will be released in which he appears with Judd Hirsch. His play, The Whaleship Essex, will have a stage reading at The Players Club in New York City, starring Tom Hanks as Captain Pollard. It will also have a public reading at The Vineyard Playhouse on Martha’s Vineyard.

Leigh Horsley has been at Heartspring since 2005 and became Director of Development in 2007. She enjoys being a part of the Heartspring community and working with all the dedicated supporters who have contributed so much to Heartspring’s mission and services over the years. Leigh holds a degree from DePaul University and has spent most of her adult life working in the nonprofit sector. Her background includes nonprofit administration and program coordination, as well as fundraising. She was a founding member and Co-Artistic Director of Shattered Globe Theatre in Chicago. She also spent
five years working as a teacher in Singapore. Her husband Drew is a stay at home dad to her son Beckett, who is a great source of amazement and inspiration. Leigh is currently president of the Wichita chapter of the Association of Fundraising.
