Cortney is a native Chicagoian who, in addition to working with Shattered Globe, has had the privilege to work with such companies as Trap Door, Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, Redmoon as well as with talented directors such as Janet Louer. She is SGT’s Protégé Program Director as well as a teacher across Chicaoland recently teaching at Piven and The Actors Training Center. Her studies have taken her to London and Poland where she has crafted her work to encompass numerous practices including the work of Polands renouned Song of the Goat in 2008. Cortney is represented by Paonessa Talent Agency and is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA. She is a 2014 Joseph Jefferson nominated actress for her work in Core of the Pudel.
