Bio:
Trina McGee is a graduate of Northwestern University. She is a director, actor, devising performer, costume and make-up designer, and mask artist. She apprenticed with NY Stage and Film at the Powerhouse Theatre, where she learned sound-painting, and has studied Commedia dell’Arte with Maestro Antonio Fava in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Recent projects include Assistant Director of The Great Fire (Lookingglass Theatre), Director of Le Ballon Rouge and J.B. (Northwestern University), and coming up she can be seen in Her Naked Skin (Shattered Globe). She strives to create physical, visual theatre that tells important stories, provokes deep questions of justice and humanity, and creates visceral connections.
