Bio:
Joseph Wiens feels privileged to be a part of a company with such a rich history and bright future in Shattered Globe. A Buffalo, NY transplant, he has begun his 3rd year in beautiful Chicago as of 2013. He has been seen in The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Pato Dooley), Romeo and Juliet (Mercutio and the Friar), Orpheus Descending (Val Xavier), and Her Naked Skin, (Seeley,Brown). Other credits around Chicago include Breaks and Bikes (Drew) with Pavement Group, A Touch of the Poet (Mickey Malloy) and Beaten (Jason) with The Artistic Home, and Orange Flower Water (Brad) for Bare Bones Theatre/Interrobang Theatre. In Buffalo, Mr. Wiens appeared in King Lear (Edmund) for Shakespeare in Delaware Park, The Lonesome West (Coleman Connor) with ICTC, and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (Buddy Holly) with Musicalfare Theater, for which he won an Artie Award for Best Actor in a Musical. He recently completed his first film, Pro Reo with Kingdom Entertainment. He is represented by Actors Talent Group. He loves his supportive family.
